Case Study
New HQ for Manufacturing
Spring Mountain Center
Spring Mountain Center is a China-based producer that manufactures plumbing fixtures for Kohler and other leading brands, along with high-end patio furniture available through national retailers including Home Depot, Wayfair, and Amazon.
Opportunity: Provide a manufacturing headquarters for their home and lifestyle products as close to their U.S. end-consumers as possible.
Challenge: Find a site that provides space for a 275,000-square-foot facility and a skilled labor force with proximity to one of their primary customers in Alpharetta, Georgia.
How we helped: Georgia EMC partnered with local economic developers and Georgia’s Quick Start program to bring Spring Mountain Center to Park 53 in Barrow County. This industrial park had been developed in partnership with the county with services provided by Georgia EMC’s Community & Leadership Development and Site Development teams.
